What is the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)?
The Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) is the U.S. Army's modernized physical fitness assessment designed to better prepare soldiers for the physical demands of combat. Replacing the traditional Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT), the ACFT evaluates functional fitness through six events that mirror real-world military tasks and combat scenarios.
Six Combat Events
The ACFT consists of six events: Deadlift, Standing Power Throw, Hand-Release Push-ups, Sprint-Drag-Carry, Leg Tuck, and Two-Mile Run.
