How India LPG Prices Are Set (Import Parity Pricing)
Indian LPG prices follow import parity pricing (IPP). The formula: International LPG price (Saudi CP benchmark) + freight + customs duty + dealer margin + state taxes. Oil marketing companies (IOCL, BPCL, HPCL) revise prices monthly. With crude above $100/barrel due to the Iran conflict, LPG import costs have risen sharply.
