Baking Time Adjustments

Baking time doesn't scale linearly. When doubling a recipe, increase baking time by about 25-50%, not double. Check doneness early and adjust as needed.

Pan Size Changes

When doubling a recipe, you may need to use a larger pan or multiple pans. A doubled cake recipe might need a 9x13" pan instead of two 9" rounds.
